The Royal Apple Curry-Shahi Seb ki Sabzi-Indian Food-Every Day Special Episode-11


Hello and welcome to the Exclusive cooking
show of Indian Recipes.In Today’s Episode you are going to see another Exclusive recipe
from My Secret Cooking Book. I am Nikunj Vasoya and this is “Every Day
Special” Title Track. In this episode of Every Day Special you are
going to see my very special Invention The Royal Apple Curry.
I have invented this recipe in the last month which was Oct.2013. I wanted to make something Delicious and Healthy
with the Apple as a Key Ingredient and finely I gave decided to use this Ingredients.
So let’s start cooking this very interesting and healthy invention. For this you will need.
2 Chopped Apples,50 Grams Cashew nuts.1 Chopped Capsicum, 2 tbsp Cream, 3 tbsp Oil, 1 finely
Chopped Onion, 2 Chopped Tomatoes, 1 each Star Anies, Cinnamon Stick and Red Chilli,
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp Sugar, 1 tsp Red Chili Powder, Lemon Juice of 1 lemon,
1 tsp Punjabi Garam Masala, Salt to taste and some fresh coriander leaves. First of all I am going to make the Cashew
nuts and Tomato Puree. You can see that, it has became nice and creamy.
After making puree we have to fry the Apples. First of all I am going to Heat oil in a Pan.
When Oil get heated add the Apples. We Have to fry apple for just 2 minutes.
Now it is soft and perfectly cooked so take it out. Now in the same Oil I am going to add 1 each
Star Anies, Cinnamon Stick and Dry Red Chilli. Now add the Onions.
We have to Saute Onion till they become golden brown.
Onion is cooked so add the Turmeric Powder and Salt.
Mix this very well. Now add the Capsicums.
After mixing this very well add the Sugar. Now Capsicum is little cooked so add the Red
Chilli Powder and again mix this very well. Now I am going to add the Cashew nuts and
Tomato Puree. After mixing this very well add the Lemon
Juice and Cream. Now you have to cook it on a low heat.
Now I am going to add the Main Ingredient Fried Apples.
After mixing this very well add the Punjabi Garam Masala and freshly Chopped Coriander
Leaves. So this is it mu very Special Invention is
ready to serve. Now this is the time to serve this Healthy
and Delicious looking Royal Apple Curry. For the Decoration I am going to use the Tomato
and Fresh Coriander Leaves. You can serve this curry with Maski paratha
which is also invented by me or Butter Naan whatever you like. I hope you have enjoyed this recipe Please

  1. Thanks for a brilliant idea. Jus a few feedbacks – try and use a wooden spatula when you are cooking on non stick pans and kadais. And try to give improvisation or healthier options as a chef. For example we cud still have this same curry made without cream as you have already added the rich cashews. Replace cashews with coconut for people who are on budget living; -) hope you take this tip. I strongly believe in innovation. And in the kitchen any thing can create absolute magic!

  2. I made this curry today. Turned out great. I agree with Sanuja about making it healthier. I did not use cream(as some of my family memebers are vegan). Thanks for sharing such innovative recipe and keep sharing more.
