Thanks for coming down this morning. 1) How did Los Dos Vatos get started? Me and eddie were looking for Mexican food the really touches home for us me being from east la boyle heights and eddie being from Chicago. 2) How did lanikai brewing company get involved ? I wanted a local beer for my authentic mexican pop up to be supported by some inspired beer craftsman that were local and open to working with us on this project. 3) And Gilbert, you have an interesting cooking background, wthat restaurants did you come from? Well till recently we were at vintage cave and I was a chef de partie. Eddie comes from Chicago where he has workes at some acclaimed restaurants like GRACE etc 4) How has your recipes reflected into the menu at the event? We’ve been heavily influenced by so many things. Being at Vintage cave I learned to value certain ingredients and Eddie has worked in France so he has a lot of small light deserts that he’s learned to embrace and work with. The event it’s a set menu menu which consist of a appetizer a entrée and a couple desserts which eddie always does three desserts as they are always a hit. 5) And what kind of dishes have you brought today? 6) Where is it held?
