  1. I'm 2 minutes into the video & I think this is very helpful. I'm 13 days in within my vegetarian lifestyle & it's going amazing

  2. I agree with you. I was a vegetarian for over 12 years before I became vegan. I never, ever had a problem getting food anywhere. Even at Mexican restaurants, if the pinto beans have lard in them, I just get black beans or potato tacos. Italian places are really simple and asian food is simple too. Soups are hard because there is chicken broth in so many soups. Once I was at Mimis and asked the waiter if the vegetable soup had chicken broth in it. he told me of course not, its vegetables. I said go ask anyway. He came back mortified and said I was right. Yeah. I love happy cow. I used it every time I travel. One big tip people need to watch out for is that Mexican restaurants use lard in their beans sometimes. That one messed me up for a while. I agree that the servers are a great source for what to get.  I was at a Mexican restaurant once and asked the server if they had anything vegan and she came back with a burrito filled with whole pinto beans, potatoes, avocado and corn. Oh man, so good. Great info.
