easy to make and healthy, the popular Indian style chicken soup ingredients and quantities are listed in the description box. we need 250 grams chicken, cleaned, cut into medium sized pieces and washed well 3 tbsp mushrooms, finely chopped 1 carrot chopped into medium sized pieces 1 tsp garlic paste 2-inch ginger, peeled & chopped into medium sized pieces 2 tbsp spring onions chopped 1 egg white, whisked lightly 2 tbsp salted butter 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 1-2 tsp soya sauce 1 tsp red chilli sauce 1 green chili finely chopped 1 liter water 1/2 cup water & 2 tbsp arrowroot powder to make a slurry 1 tsp salt/to taste 2 tsp cilantro, chopped we will prepare the chicken stock now keep the pressure cooker on medium heat and put in 1 liter of water if you need a larger quantity of soup maintain the ratio of chicken to water ar 1:4 put in the chopped chicken, carrot and ginger we are adding the carrot and ginger for flavor only also add 1/2 tsp salt & 1/4 tsp black pepper powder give a good stir close the cooker and at the first whistle reduce heat to low at the whistle reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes more after 15 minutes put off the heat and let the pressure subside then open the cooker strain out the chicken stock the chicken is nice and soft as well this stock will be used for the soup. keep aside remove the carrots and ginger pieces and shred the chicken pieces keep the shredded chicken aside and start preparing the soup now add butter in the wok and let it melt keep heat on medium when butter melts reduce heat to low and put in the garlic paste saute for about a minute until it slightly changes color now put in the chopped spring onions & green chilli saute these too for a minute add the chopped mushrooms and give a mix add the remaining salt and black pepper saute for about 2 minutes until the mushrooms are a bit tender. keep heat on low after 2 minutes put in the shredded chicken saute the chicken for about 2 minutes add the chicken stock and raise heat to high mix well and let the soup start to bubble while the soup is heating up prepare a smooth arrowroot slurry by adding 1/2 cup water to the arrowroot powder stir the soup intermittently while it is heating up when the soup starts to bubble put in the soya and red chili sauces and stir it nicely cook for a minute to two. keep heat on medium put in the arrowroot slurry slowly and simultaneously keep stirring so that lumps do not form put in the chopped cilantro as well cook until the soup thickens the soup has thickened. add the egg white slowly and keep stirring as well keep stirring until the egg white is cooked, about a minute our chicken soup is ready. put off the heat and remove to serving bowls here is our recipe of the day – Indian style chicken soup. do try and give your feedback if you like the recipe please share the video & subscribe to our channel, and press the bell icon so you are notified when we upload a new video. thanks for watching
